Seagate Cheetah NS.2 drives break 600GB boundaries

Seagate break 600GB limitation

The Seagate hardisk manufacturer have break record to reach volume capacity hardisk up to 600 GB and over 20 percent lower power of Seagate Cheetah NS.2 drives reduce storage costs per GB and increases capacity per watt. The drive support 4-Gb/s FC and equipped with SAS 6-GB/s connector. The Cheetah NS.2 drive used Seagate PowerTrim™ technology, which help optimizes drive power consumption at all levels of activity.

Key Features and Benefits
Lowest-power 10K, 3.5-inch Tier 1 drive (20 percent delta over runner-up)
Highest-capacity Tier 1 10K, 3.5-inch drive (600 GB)
Highest reliability rating in the industry
PowerTrim technology dynamically reduces power usage
Supports 4-Gb/s FC
