New Earth Discover call Kepler-22b.

Lately, the newly confirmed planet Kepler-22b was discovered by Nasa’s Kepler space telescope and believe there is a space suitable for human life living. The research has identified the planet Kepler-22b consist the most similar with earth habitat yet discovered.

Kepler 22b planet was found about double size of Earth which approximate 2.4 times radius comparing with Earth and has the surface temperatures average about 72 degrees (22 Celsius) .
Scientists do not yet know if it has a predominantly rocky, gaseous or liquid composition, but its discovery is a step closer to finding Earth-like planets.

Two other small planets orbiting stars smaller and cooler than our sun were recently confirmed on the very edges of the habitable zone, with orbits more closely resembling those of Venus and Mars.

Kepler was discover the right atmosphere and potential for human life living is a hope for human to immigrate to universal. It located about 600 light years away from our Earth.
The planet orbit of 290 days around a sun-like star resembles that of our world.

SAP MM MASS Maintenance

Mass maintenance is used to make make mass changes to master data such as materials, vendors, purchase orders, purchase requisitions, etc.

Example: you want to change particular field of material for all the materiall of certian plant or all the plant you can do using mass like wise for certian PO value if you want to cahnge you can use mass.

There a lot of SAP transactions code for specific mass changes. MASS is also one of the transactions among them.

It is typically used by support staff to maintain / update master data. If your requirement is to complex for Mass Maintenance, then rather use LSMW, it can do even more -- but is more complex to use.

Steps:

Run transaction MASS
a)Select what master data element you want to change

b)Select fields for selection and what will be changed

c)Select master data to be changed

d)Indicate what the new value is

e)Save (Run)

For example: for all materials of type RAW1, make the material group 1012. Let show you with steps below.

Transaction MASS
a) Select the tables for the selection screen. In our case, material type = MARA.

b) Choose the MARA table. Material group field store under MARA table.

c) Select the material type to filter the data record.

d)The materials selected will be listed.Now indicate which field must be change. In our example the material group field.

e)Select the field material group want to update.




















f) Select the column and copy to all the materials listed below. If you don't want to change all objects --  unselect them at this point

g) Click Save -- this will start the action to change the object (material)
h) A log will be displayed on if it was successful

How do change the default Excel spreadsheet download setting in SAP report

 THERE ARE TWO OPTIONS TO EXPORT SPREADSHEET IN SAP:
 1) AFTER GENERATED SAP REPORT, GO à LIST à EXPORT à SPREADSHEET OR

  

     




















2)  AFTER RUN THE REPORT, RIGHT CLICK MOUSE à SPREADSHEET.
                          
3)  In pop up box, select ‘All Available Formats’ à 08 Excel(In previous XXL format)

    Remember check ‘Always Use Selected Format’ to save the change into sap system.

4)   After click ‘thick’ to complete.
   

      IF THE POP UP BOX ABOVE DIDN’T APPEAR, ADDITIONAL STEPS REQUIRED. REASON BEING THE PREVIOUS ALV/FORMAT SETTING ALREADY SAVED INTO SAP SYSTEM
a) Go à System à Services à Reporting OR transaction code: sa38

          b)  Click execute to run ‘SALV_BS_ADMIN_MAINTAIN’ program.
c) Under Actions tab à Display ; under General Data à Detailed Selection ;

          Under ALV Data à All.  Put correct client and specific user name.   

d)    Highlight row to delete any result return if any. After repeat number 1-4.

   

Honda Hybrid Insight

Recently, Honda Malaysia has launched the new Honda Insight at the 2010 KLIMS.
The new Insight have takes over other hybrid car such as Toyota priur & Civic Hybrid place as the cheapest hybrid car in Malaysia with a price tag of RM98,000 OTR including insurance. It was impressive and reasonable price range where it only RM7,520 different with the price of Honda City.
The Honda Insight used the latest Integrated Motor Assist IMA®system compare with the system in the Civic Hybrid, the battery pack was improved, where is smaller and less module resulting in cost savings and reduced weight. The location for battery significant provide greater cabin space. The Honda Insight was carried 1.3-liter, 8-valve, i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine and equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The IMA hybrid system is just like the Civic IMA, but the system in the Insight uses a smaller electric motor with a 14 PS output instead of the Civic Hybrid’s 20 PS motor.
The unique Eco Assist™[1] system enables increased efficiency for improved performance through two elements, an ECON button[1] that controls certain functions of the car, and a feedback system that lets you monitor your driving performance. Eco Scoring at the conclusion of the drive provides drivers with even more of an incentive to drive green.

Compare with Civic Hybrid, the IMA system in the Insight is 19% more compact and 28% lighter compared to the IMA in the Civic Hybrid. Thus power is put to the wheels via a CVT transmission, with the motor sandwiched between the CVT and the combustion engine doesn’t required huge battery like Civic Hybrid. Due to the reason the battery cost for insight was lower than Civic Hybrid. Current market expected cost for Insight is about rm7k and 12k for Civic Hybrid. Despite the model is fuel saving, many people still prefer to choose Honda city while comparing car in same range due to the cost maintenance for battery is high and the battery only last about 3years.

Honda Malaysia was working hard on to improve and reducing the prices for the battery replacement and other spare part by p to 40%. In effort like topping up the warranty for battery up 5 years(140,000km) to gain support from consumer as compare to the usual 3 years warranty.

The specs list consist of sensor activated headlamps and wipers, an MP3+WMA compatible audio player with USB and aux jack, auto climate control, VSA stability control, ABS, EBD, dual SRS airbags, and rear ISOFIX points.

There was four colours available – Dyno Blue Pearl, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl and Premium White Pearl.
