Proton Saga Second Edition Available for Booking Now

A good new for those who cannot afford to drive expensive import car, now you can have another choice for a cheap car in Malaysia with comfortable and good looking furnishing.

The Proton going to release the new Proton Saga SE (Second Edition) where the engine still using the 1.3 liter Campro IAFM with some modification on the body kit and side skirt, leather seats, enhancement CD player with MP3 support.

What is include in the Proton Saga “SE" ? Below are some the full details:
• Only two colours with brilliant red or solid white and a black finish roof top.
• New front, rear (with faux diffuser design) and side skirts.
• A new front grille with black finish.
• Leather seats, door trim and steering wheel
• Pearl white instrument cluster
• Dark chrome air-conditioning vents
• CD player with MP3 support

Based on the information given,the new Saga SE manual is on road priced will be at RM43,000 while the automatic transmission model is priced at RM45,500.

The Proton Saga SE edition is now available for booking with RM500 deposit, however the display cars will only be in the nationwide & distributes showrooms officially from the 15th of August 2009 onwards.

  1. I like the phrase "cannot afford expensive imports". But I cannot help to think that this is still very expensive by our buying power. On average, our young chaps earn less than 2k a month and this entry level Proton cost 40k. Our automobile industry is killing the finance of our people. Our counterparts in UK earn a similar amount but their Civic is less than 10k.
